It features a cloud-like vanilla sponge cake base, layers of jam, and lightly sweetened whipped cream, all topped with an abundance of fresh fruit.
While you can choose to arrange the berries in the shape of the American flag, this cake is incredibly versatile and can be decorated in countless ways. It truly is my favorite summer cake because it is so light and really highlights the best of summer berries.
